how to get here:

Staveley Mill Yard is situated halfway between Kendal and Windermere on the A591; it is also 10 minutes from the M6, Junction 36.

Follow signs into Staveley and turn at the Spar shop into the Mill Yard, where there is plenty of free parking.

The Mill Yard is also easily reachable by train and bus. Staveley is a stop on the Windermere line, change at Oxenholme Station for the Lake District. The 555 and 556 bus services also run from Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick and Lancaster.
